Responsibilities:

As an AV-Drop Warehouse Associate, your role will focus on ensuring the accurate processing, picking, packing, and shipment of AV-Drop scenic backdrop modular products. You’ll use your product knowledge to ensure these systems are properly handled for live events and productions.

• Picking and Packing: Select and pack AV-Drop scenic backdrop modular components accurately, ensuring that all necessary parts, accessories, and hardware are included.
• Product Knowledge: Understand and apply your knowledge of scenic backdrop modular systems to ensure correct assembly, packaging, and shipment. Familiarity with how these products fit into event setups is essential.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining an organized warehouse, accurately tracking stock levels of AV-Drop systems and related components, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
• Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, to move and organize products.
• Quality Control: Ensure each order is packed securely, all items are accounted for, and the necessary assembly instructions and hardware are included with each shipment.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse staff, supervisors, and production coordinators to ensure efficient workflow and on-time deliveries.

Your Experience:

• Knowledge: Familiarity with scenic backdrop modular systems and their components, including an understanding of how these modular systems are used in live events, theater, or trade show setups.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail when picking and packing items, ensuring accuracy in quantity and correct part selection.
• Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, ensuring that all orders are fulfilled according to specifications and shipped promptly.
• Scheduling Flexibility: Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed to accommodate the fast-paced demands of the event industry.
• Safety Awareness: Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and best practices for handling and storing equipment and other warehouse goods.
• Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; bilingual is a plus.
• Multi-tasking: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and efficiently manage time to meet daily goals.
• Professionalism: Maintain a professional appearance and strong work ethic at all times.
• Willingness to Learn: Eagerness to learn more about AV-Drop systems, warehouse operations, and event logistics.
• Adaptability: Ability to take on additional tasks and adjust to changes in workload or priority.
• Theatrical Knowledge: Must have knowledge with construction and installation of theatrical flats.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to interpret scale drawing and plans; CAD knowledge is a plus.
• Driving Experience: Must possess a Valid Driver's license, DOT health card a plus
